We are looking for an individual to join us as a Seller/Fintech SME in Visa Consulting and Analytics, Hub Practices team based in Singapore. The Visa Consulting Airline Director will be a subject matter expert across this critical industry sector. They will be key in ensuring that our engagements are of an exceptional quality and deliver value to all parties.
This individual will be responsible for leading significant components of client consulting engagements, within the Airline/Travel. Typically, this will involve the analyst interacting with the client team, leading projects, gathering and managing inputs, analyzing data to form conclusions and recommendations, developing and presenting compelling project reports and working with clients on executing recommendations.
We would expect the successful applicant to have deep domain expertise as the role involves advising clients within the airline industry to support them to utilise electronic payments and payment related data to grow and optimise their business. Ideally the successful applicant’s domain knowledge should include specific industry level customer & commercial aspects (CRM, Loyalty, Selling/Servicing channels, etc.), operational aspects, back office (ERP, HR, Finance, etc.,) as well as a holistic understanding of industry trends, players, best practices along with multifunctional experience across strategy, optimization, organization etc.). The role requires the successful applicant to be able to lead workshops with clients across all levels in the organization, develop proposals that meet the client needs identified and deliver engagements to address the needs identified.
Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Area
Ongoing evolution of the Airline consulting strategy within the Seller/Fintech consulting practice
Holistic understanding of the Airline industry (trends. players, best practices, multifunctional experience across strategy, optimization, organization etc.)
Domain knowledge at industry level of customer & commercial aspects (CRM, Loyalty, Selling/Servicing channels, etc.), operational aspects, back office (ERP, HR, Finance, etc.,)
Development and expansion of offerings relevant to Airlines that support business growth including data related services, cobrands, Value Added Services etc.
Build close relationships with Airline partners to develop expert understanding of their specific evolving needs.
Strong desire to collaborate with colleagues across Hub functional practices Strategy, Product, Risk, Digital, Managed Services and our regional and global teams to utilize their expertise and share yours
Ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization of both Visa and clients.
Development of client proposals, delivery of client engagements and ongoing upskilling of colleagues
Continuously scan external environment to bring in best-in-class practices and challenge conventional wisdom to ensure Visa’s continued leadership and excellence.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
