We are looking for a skilled Interpreter/Executive Assistant to support the company’s director in effectively communicating across different languages and assisting in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Mandarin and possess exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Translate documents, emails, and other communications accurately and efficiently between English and Mandarin.
- Assist in scheduling appointments, making travel arrangements, and organising meetings.
- Act as a liaison between the director and business associates, facilitating clear communication.
- Provide administrative support such as managing correspondence and handling confidential information.
- Conduct research and gather information as needed to support ongoing projects.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Fluency in both written and verbal English and Mandarin.
- Proven experience as a translator or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a personal assistant or in administrative support roles.
- Familiarity with financial terminology.
