Our client is a MNC company in the Transportation industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Warehouse Lead to join their Logistics team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of multiple warehouses comprising of outdoor/indoor spaces, along with a team of warehouse personnel
- Ensure adherence to various legal and industry standards related to warehousing, material handling, shipping, and safety
- Lead several teams responsible for material handling, customer service, and records management, ensuring seamless coordination of warehousing and distribution operations
- Collaborate with company’s key stakeholders to plan workflow and implement improvement initiatives
- Establish/Oversee security measures to safeguard the various warehouse operations and assets
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular checks when needed, aligning with the company’s data system
- Manage the condition of warehousing spaces, inspecting the various equipment, and overseeing repair and maintenance processes
- Recruit and train warehouse personnel to maintain a competent company workforce
- Provide guidance and support to warehouse personnel through coaching and performance monitoring
- All other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in any relevant field of studies
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
- Experienced in handling cargo transportation
