Main Purpose
To maximise and contribute to the global profit of the team through trading (buy/ sell) of product, managing profit/ loss and risk for the assigned area and other activities such as blending. To co-ordinate regional trading activities with the global team as well as cross business with other products. Business developments in the assigned area.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Minimum 3 to 5 years in previous trading job with major commodities trading company
· Commercial – how to construct purchase, sales, business development
· Negotiation, good at numbers, decision making, relationship building
· Good negotiation, good at numbers, decision making, relationship building, hedging, communication and analysis
Key Responsibilities
· Day-to-day trading – buying and selling to third parties. Maximising profit margin
· Managing risk exposure – manage any possible volatility of the market structure
· Developing new business strategies
