We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate, Actuarial Services.
Principal Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing assistance to the valuation, stress testing and other reporting requirements in the Actuarial Services Department to support business needs
- Supports the computing of reserves and capital requirements for solvency monitoring, solvency projections and business planning purposes
- Perform ad-hoc valuation tasks assigned which may involve solvency, balance sheet and profit & loss management, bonus investigation, stress testing, etc
- Responsible for maintaining local Model Governance standards as per HSBC guidelines
- Work closely with the group office and external Actuarial consultants, ensuring adherence to the HSBC guidelines and statutory regulations
Qualifications
- University graduate in a relevant discipline in Actuarial Studies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
- Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude
