We are looking for a Finance Manager to join Singapore's largest multi-disciplinary specialist medical group.
Responsibilities encompass financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, risk management
The Finance Manager works with the Financial Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations:
Consolidated Financial Management and Reporting
- Oversee the consolidation of financial statements from all subsidiaries to produce a unified financial report for the holding company.
- Ensure that all financial reporting is in accordance with applicable accounting standards, and intercompany transactions are accurately recorded and eliminated in consolidation.
Financial Planning and Analysis
- Lead the financial planning and analysis across the group.
- This includes coordinating the budgeting process, forecasting financial performance, and conducting variance analysis to compare actual results against budgets and forecasts.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making and financial optimization across the subsidiaries.
Cash Flow and Liquidity Management
- Oversee cash management policies, optimize cash flow by managing receivables, payables, and inventory levels, and ensure that there are sufficient funds available to meet the group's operational needs and financial obligations.
- You will also be involved in arranging for financing or managing relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Assess and manage financial risks, including currency, credit, interest rate, and market risks, that could impact the group.
- Develop and implement financial controls and policies to mitigate risks and ensure that financial reporting and transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and are in accordance with established financial standards.
People Management and Leadership
- Proactively manage a team of high functioning individuals to ensure competence, drive engagement, and foster a positive work culture
Requirement:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Possess strong leadership and analytical skills, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial management practices.
