Job Purpose
- Grow LGI’s business through active engagement with existing and prospective Private Bank channels, Family Offices, Independent Asset Management firms and the non-profit segment.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute appropriate sales and distribution strategies for the Private Bank channels, Family Offices, Independent Asset Management firms and the non-profit segment;
- Actively seek out new potential clients from the segments under coverage;
- Achieve AUM growth by securing investments into registered LGI funds and/or segregated mandates;
- Be fully conversant with Lion’s investment solutions and to front conversations with key stakeholders in the segments under coverage with the aim of marketing LGI’s range of services;
- Prepare customised marketing pitch books as required;
- Build and maintain long lasting and sustainable relationships with key stakeholders in the segments under coverage;
- Keep abreast of competitors' product offerings and services in the region;
- Work closely and collaborate with team members, the broader business development team, the investment teams, middle office and operations colleagues, legal and compliance teams and other colleagues to deliver positive client experience;
- Collaborate with team members and/or other colleagues on business development projects when called upon to do so.
Pre-requisites
- University degree;
- Financial services background;
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience;
- Good industry knowledge and network;
- Strong knowledge and experience in executing sales and distribution strategies;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Creative thinker with an open mind to learn and explore new areas and opportunities;
- Highly driven individual, independent, adaptable and collaborative in nature.
