Electrical Technician of Heavy Machinery

MULTI WAYS EQUIPMENT PTE LTD is a leading provider of heavy construction equipment, specializing in cranes, excavators, bulldozers, generators, and compressors, etc. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, reliable machinery to construction sites worldwide. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team.

1. *Installation*: You are required to install electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components in industrial or institutional buildings. Work-based on blueprints, diagrams, or technical specifications to ensure proper installation and compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

2. *Maintenance and Repair*: you are required to perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. This includes inspecting, testing, cleaning, and replacing components as needed. This includes diagnosing and repairing electrical problems, such as malfunctioning circuits, broken wires, or faulty switches, using tools like multimeters, etc….

3. *Troubleshooting*: When electrical systems or equipment fail or exhibit abnormal behavior, you will have to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of the problem. This involves using logical thinking, technical knowledge, and diagnostic tools to isolate and rectify electrical issues efficiently.

4. *Safety Compliance*: Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations. you must follow established safety procedures, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to relevant codes and regulations to prevent accidents, injuries, or electrical hazards.

5. *Documentation*: Keeping accurate records of installation, maintenance, repairs, and inspections is essential for accountability, compliance, and future reference. You are required to document your work activities, including equipment specifications, test results, repairs performed, and any deviations from standards or regulations.

**Qualifications:**

1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2. Proven experience in electrical design and development, preferably in the heavy equipment or automotive industry.
3. Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical).
4. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power distribution, and control systems.
5. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for electrical safety and compliance (e.g., NEC, UL, CE).
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Experience with PLC programming and control systems integration (preferred).

9. Bilingual candidate is an advantage.
