Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of IT, you shall be responsible to:
- Assist to manage IT projects for existing infrastructure enhancement and new infrastructure implementations
- Support and provide consultation on network related issues within the Company
- Able to manage on-going system changes, Windows server and system backup
- Provide helpdesk support to users, assist to set up lap/desk top, email accounts, telephone, system and folders access for new joins
- Perform daily administration and operational support in the area of network, security and voice over IP
- Develop and maintain operational procedures to ensure service reliability, security and user productivity
- Monitor network usage and performance to ensure system availability and stability
- Able to implement and configure network solutions, involving LAN/VoIP/VLAN
- Prepare documents and procedures for entire infrastructure
Job Requirements:
- A recognized Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant qualification.
- CCNA certification would be an added advantage
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in IT support environment, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge in computer networking and administration in servers and SQL in Microsoft Window platforms
- Hands-on in BCP and DR site support is a must
- Familiar with network equipment configuration such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto etc, network security / LAN / VoIP and routing technologies solutions
- Able to work independently and as a team
- A fast leaner with great initiative and positive learning attitude
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
