Administrative / Operational
- Risk management of projects in execution and delivery phases
Business Acumen
- Key supporting role in financial tracking and resource management of the overall team to ensure business efficiency.
- Responsible for P&L - sustaining account growth, diversification and profitability.
- Recognise the commercial implications of the agency’s decisions and external influences, and manage the internal and client conversations arising from these.
- Driver of business development and growth of existing accounts.
Client Management
- Overall ownership of senior clients relationships, pro-active in client development.
- Understand the strategic, and business context the client is operating in and uses this knowledge to develop effective solutions for the client.
- Consult and partner to clients, pushing the boundaries and creative standards to grow their business.
Strategy & Creative
- Partner, advisor and relationship lead with internal teams, driver of creative excellence.
- Consider different angles on a brief – a non linear thinker.
- Achieve synergy : Results oriented in both business and creative output.
- Cognisant of recent award winning works/industry best practices especially relevant to the client industry.
People Management
- Driver of relationships within and outside the team, maximising team output and efficiencies.
- Coach, train and develop performance of team members for career growth.
- Provide clear and nurturing feedback to reporting team.
Leadership
- High level of curiosity, courage and comfort with building previously undefined solutions.
- Experience guiding and mentoring managers and account executives in the team.
Job Specifications
1. Knowledge and Experiences Required
- At least 8-10 years relevant experience with a sound knowledge of print, digital and content production processes.
- Leadership experience in managing an account servicing team.
- A proven track record of previous success, as well as a determination to continue to succeed.
- Sound financial planning and budget management experience.
- Experience working within a business development role within an agency or similar organisation.
2. Skills Required
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent relationship management and presentation skills.
- The ability to multi-task and provide holistic leadership support across a range of clients
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Keynote
