The Radiology PACs Administrator combining technical and computer skills with clinical knowledge will oversee equipment maintenance, systems testing, upgrading, and any necessary installations. The administrator will act as a liaison between the radiology department and customers, thus maintaining a positive vendor relationship.
Deliverables and Responsibilities
• Implementing systems for image storage
• Preparing images for storing or transmitting
• Transmitting images to patients and providers
• Performing routine maintenance on PACS
• Troubleshooting issues with the systems and finding solutions
• Upgrading systems to better meet patient and provider needs.
• Running system tests and analysing reports to determine trends
• Training new staff members on PACS usage
• Collaborating with physicians and vendors to improve functionality of products and services.
• Building relationships with healthcare personnel, such as cardiology and radiology professionals, clients and patients
• Providing technical support for users
• Supervising radiology and cardiology technicians
• Evaluating workflow processes and making recommendations to improve the transfer of information.
• Ensuring patient images and information remains secure, adhering to all rules, regulations, and laws in Singapore.
• Monitoring images for quality and making adjustments as necessary.

Requirements
• Diploma in IT or related field and minimum of two (2) years related experience.
• Knowledgeable of supporting / administration of Clinic Management System (CMS)
• Knowledgeable of supporting Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (Imaging PACS) and Imaging Modalities is preferred.
• Domain knowledge in Healthcare Industry is preferred.
• Good analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with strong end-to-end communication and troubleshooting skills. Team player to be able to work in a lean IT environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years IT administration experience.
