Junior/Senior Consultant (Financial Advisory, Japanese speaking)
Our client, who provides financial advisory services and other consulting services in ASEAN region, is looking for a new consultant with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a passion for driving investment success.
Job Description:
Investment Target Identification and Due Diligence Support
- Research to identify potential investment targets
- Assist in due diligence processes for investment opportunities
Assistance with Business Expansion in the ASEAN Region
- Provide support and advisory services for new businesses seeking to enter the ASEAN market
- Develop and implement strategies for business expansion in the region
Cross-border M&A Services
- Offer advisory services to both Japanese and local companies involved in cross-border mergers and acquisitions
- Serve as a liaison between Japanese and local companies, providing translation, interpretation, and other support as needed
Ad-hoc tasks
- Participating in meetings and handling minutes
- Preparation of presentation materials
- General affairs around the office, etc.
- Business trip to ASEAN countries
Job Requirements:
- Study or work experience with financial statements (analysis and preparation are better, but not necessary)
- 3-5 years relevant work experience in management consulting firm, market research firm, corporate planning roles, business development roles
- Study or work experience in the marketing field is strongly preferred (if you have some, please let your consultant know).
- Bright and good communication skills
- The person who can work with professionalism or possess a professional mindset with high sense of responsibility toward clients
- Flexible and able to handle a wide range of tasks
- Business level of English and Japanese skills to be a bridge between local and Japanese clients. Attending meetings in English and supporting interpretation are also required.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel
