JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Facilitate communication between different departments within the organization, such as production, quality assurance, engineering, and regulatory affairs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, implement changes, and achieve common goals.
- Communicate production schedules, goals, and performance metrics to team members and upper management.
- Identify and resolve issues or conflicts that arise during production, such as equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or staffing shortages.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, quality, and safety, and take proactive measures to address any deviations.
- Responsible for managing and leading a team of production workers, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and working efficiently.
- Oversee all aspects of the production process to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company quality procedures.
- Ensure that all operations are carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct safety training sessions for production staff and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Continuously assess production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement measures to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and streamline operations while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labour, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set by Company
- Plan and deliver schedules for more specific needs such as periodic timetable, utilising available manpower and equipment
- Analyze and identify all performance related issues and ensure appropriate steps to prevent loss
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Bachelor's in related field.
- Atleast 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Experience in quality assurance, quality control, and process optimization within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in performing pharmaceutical calculations, such as dosage calculations and medication conversions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to accurately manage and dispense medications.
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Preferably with Class 3 Driving Licence
- Must be able to work longer hours, weekends and public holiday when necessary
- Able to manage multiple projects within the scope of work and stay on task
- Coordinate with other team members to optimize teamwork.
