Job Purpose
- Assisting driver during delivery to customers, make sure all products that delivered are in good condition before handling them to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure all daily delivery orders (DOs) entrusted are delivered to customers according to the schedule given. Any delay in fulfillment must be communicated back to Traffic Controller.
- Ensure all delivery orders (DOs) are properly endorsed with clean POD (Proof Of Delivery)
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
- Display teamwork within team to ensure productivity targets / KPIs are met.
- Ensure daily delivery accident free with no damages
- Assess the load and prepare trucks for loading and ensure proper stacking and lashing to prevent falling or getting loose during the delivery trip.
- Take charge of the assigned delivery and assist the driver at all times
- Assist Traffic Controller in investigation and completion of CAPA report
- Assist the driver to carry out regular cleaning and basis maintenance for the assigned vehicle
- Carry out delivery activities as per SOPs, flow processes, WIs and feedback to Traffic Controller.
- Perform other job tasks as and when assign by the superior
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 3 years similar work experience
- Experience in cargo / truck loading and lashing
- Ability to work harmoniously with others in the team
- Ability to plan and load with “eye for details”
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Minimum PSLE with simple logistic and delivery experiences
Additional Information:
- Required to carry fridge, capable to carry 20-30KG.
- 5.5 days, Working hours: 830am - 530pm (Mon - Fri), 830am – 1230pm (Sat)
