Job Scope
- Supervise and coordinate activities within a specific section of the kitchen, such as the grill, sauté, or pastry station.
- Ensure that all dishes from their section are prepared and presented according to the restaurant's quality standards and recipes.
- Manage inventory and stock levels for ingredients and supplies needed in their section, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff working in their section, providing guidance on cooking techniques, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Collaborate with the sous chef and head chef to develop new menu items, special dishes, or seasonal offerings.
5 days work week
