Responsibilities:
• Review and manage the day-to-day operations of the overall accounting function which includes but not limited to month-end closing, journal entries and reconciliation, fixed assets register, account receivable, account payable, billing.
• Supervise and ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports. Hands on certain management reports for submission to local management, regional finance / HQ.
• Monitor project costs, review project progress, and provide in-dept analysis on the project performance.
• Ensure entity’s financial statements are in accordance with corporate financial reporting policies and standards; and are compliant to local regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management and cross-functional teams, leveraging financial insights to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
• Manage weekly cash flow and monthly fund forecasting.
• Review and submit GST return on quarterly basis for own entity and on behalf of customers.
• Spearhead process improvements and continuously review and improve internal control processes. Drive digitalization of finance processes.
• Provide business partnering with non-finance stakeholders for financial and operational issues, including insights on the company performance and GST service offered to the customers.
• Hands on the annual budget planning process, prepare the budget for submission, monthly review on budget versus actual, continuous update on forecast as well as providing comparison between budget / forecast and actual performance.
• Liaise with the external auditors and tax agents and drive corporate accounting and tax compliance to the regulations.
• Liaise with the banker to resolve any bank issue.
• Handle ad hoc assignments / tasks allocated by the Regional Finance. Any other responsibilities assigned by Superior.
• Supervise the function of Documentation Team.
• Handle administrative matters relating to the accounting department.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 - 5 years of related working experience as a Finance Manager in logistics / warehouse management.
• Recognized Degree in Finance sector.
• Excellent analytical, people, problem solving, troubleshooting, interpersonal and communication skills. Strong decision making and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment without losing attention to details.
• Self-motivated and able to work in the team spirits. Eager to learn and inquisitive by nature.
