Customer Service Officer

ALG has an exciting opportunity as a Customer Service Officer with our global Aerospace client (Singapore office). This role involves liaising between customers and cross-functional internal teams in a fast-paced global work environment. The ideal candidate will be a team player, driven to provide outstanding service to customers, and have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.


This is a full-time permanent role.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely processing of customer RFQ’s; spot quote follow up; purchase order review; and order entry activities.
  • Manage all post-order administration activities (i.e. date changes, quantity changes, expedites, etc.), review open order reports and proactively resolve order holds for the successful delivery of products and services according to customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with other Sales staff and often liaise with internal teams such as Product Management, Quality, and Materials Management regarding issues such as pricing, delivery, and terms to ensure the accuracy of quotes and to address customer inquiries, and facilitate the timely and effective resolution of customer concerns and disputes.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with a portfolio of assigned customers; develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and decision-makers; and listen to understand the customer’s environment, influences, and challenges in the interest of building customer loyalty and creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as required to meet customer and organizational needs.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 up to 4 years of relevant working experience interfacing directly with customers in a B2B sales or service environment.
  • Great verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • N level or ITE.
  • Proficiency with ERP software and Salesforce or similar CRM applications.
  • Detail oriented with strong organization and time management skills. Must be self-motivated and able to proactively manage time to meet deadlines and commitments and is achievement focused.
