Role Summary
As a Field Engineer, you'll be providing field support to assigned project. You'll assist to resolve problems and ensure our products helps to perform and maintain efficiently during operations. You'll also required to collaborate with other functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction is fulfilled accordingly.
Essential Responsibilities
- Meet all company service reporting requirements to customer.
- Conducting field evaluations of new products and equipment, installing test systems, recording data and training customer personnel in the use of the products.
- Provide on-site field service and on-site assistance towards troubleshooting and value-added services.
- Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.
- Working with applied services to design, construct and install new chemical feed equipment for use at customer sites.
- Coordinating the installation of new equipment with outside contractors when required.
- Establishing maintenance schedules and repair procedures and communicating this information to customers and sales/service personnel.
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment used in the application of various products at customer plants.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Have Minimum Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry or equivalent.
- Have extensive 5 years’ experience in Oilfield Chemical & Onshore Operation
- Have good product line knowledge in addition to meeting the competency requirements for Downstream Chemicals
- Have thorough understanding of production, onshore process and production chemical application and production chemistry related.
- Have ability to work and communicate and mix well with people especially within customer’s community.
- Good computer skills and experience with MS Office applications
- Have good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in onshore environment.
