Qualification criteria
· University degree, preferably in Business related field (master’s degree preferred)
· Proficiency in English
· 7+ years of professional experience, whereof 4+ years in Procurement Operations
· International experience from multinational company
· Experience from an above-market role
· 5+ years of proven managerial experience
· Procurement platform/-s experience
· Advanced level of MS Office Suite

Main purpose of the job
The Global Procurement Lead for Procurement Operations will be responsible for implementing the purpose, vision, and strategies of Procurement, as well as establishing governance structures. They will provide leadership to the Global Procurement team, ensuring the successful execution of operational goals and key performance indicators. Promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among regions, fostering a team spirit, and implementing the Global Procurement People strategy will be essential. The Lead will monitor adherence to governance, policies, and processes, safeguarding company assets and reputation. Building strong stakeholder relationships, managing budgets, and driving operational excellence are key responsibilities, along with continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and leading global procurement operations. Additionally, they will manage the Procurement cost centre, analyse cost effectiveness, and identify saving opportunities to ensure financial well-being.
Accountabilities and deliverables
1. Implement Procurement purpose, vision, strategies and governance.
2. Provide leadership to the respective Global Procurement team and oversee the definition, implementation and successful execution of global procurement operations goals and KPIs.
3. Promote one team spirit between all regions to enable sharing of best practices and knowledge.
4. Ensure implementation of Global Procurement People strategy and culture (incl. DEI, employee engagement and well-being).
5. Monitor adherence to defined governance, policies and processes.
6. Protect all company’s assets by putting in place internal control system and procedures.
7. Protect reputation of Asahi by following applicable legislation.
8. Advocate and foster Sustainable Procurement (incl. CSR) and Procurement innovation strategies and projects.
9. Support the complete definition, implementation and successful execution of category strategies.
10. Represent Procurement in relevant committees and governance bodies and ensure alignment across procurement processes.
11. Build and enhance strong stakeholder relationship across all Procurement activities, particularly those related to POC.
12. Develop and maintain strong partnership with suppliers including performance and quality assurance, particularly those related to POC.
13. Manage and track agenda specific plans and budgets including objectives, key value drivers and related KPIs.
14. Manage Procurement cost centre, perform cost control activities, analyse cost effectiveness and define saving opportunities with the aim to ensure appropriate cost-performance-ratio and financial well-being of the function.
15. Lead Procurement operational excellence, including its processes and systems.
16. Drive continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices in alignment with the overall Asahi strategy and external benchmarks.
17. Lead Procurement operations with a global scope.
