Job Overview:
Work as a business partner to Asia BUs and support Financial Controller (“FC”) and Group Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) to manage the financial reporting, management reporting, statutory reporting and compliance matters. Providing suggestions and solutions to improve the business process flow toimprove efficiency and at the same time compliance with the regulation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage finance team and day-to-day finance operation;
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting, management reporting and statutory submission eg. annual return and income tax submission;
- Preparation of sub-group consolidation financial statements;
- Involve in the process of establish a sound internal control framework which is suitable for Southeast Asia and Global businesses practices;
- Ensure compliance with Milkyway policies in all business practices;
- Actively participate in business and support BUs Head to review monthly, quarterly and yearly management report and assist BUs Head to roll out budget and review budget against actual performance;
- Act as a key player between Finance and BUs and maintain a construction partnership and developing value added suggestions for improvements in key business operating parameters;
- Cost analysis on management report and financial report;
- Cash flow management for subsidiaries;
- Support in system implementation process;
- Support CFO on M&A projects in Asia and lead integration; and
- Adhoc requirement from FC and CFO
Qualification:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or other equivalent Professional Accounting Qualifications such as ACCA;
- Possess at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in finance role;
- Preferably with audit experience;
- Familiar with IFRS and tax compliance;
- Self-motivated, resourceful, strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset and able to think out of the box;
- Meticulous, able to work independently and perform under pressure and tight timelines;
- Team player with positive working attitude and a strong mindset for learning and growth;
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills; and
- Proficiency in written Chinese and Mandarin speaking is preferred as the incumbent requires to liaise with China counterparts.
