We are looking for Speech Language Therapist to be outsourced to our clients from the healthcare industry.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with students in either one-on-one or group settings, tailored to their functional levels.
- Assess and document students' Speech Language therapy requirements and advancements regularly, overseeing training programs and assessing their efficacy.
- Offer consultation, support, and progress updates on Speech Language therapy to pertinent members of the rehabilitation team and caregivers.
- Engage in discussions with caregivers regarding student-related concerns.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of programs.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Speech Language therapy service delivery to ensure therapy programs remain current.
- Conduct internal training sessions for relevant staff, caregivers, and volunteers within the organization.
- Identify and address individual student needs, formulating, developing, and implementing customized Speech Language therapy programs.
- Participate in research related to Speech Language therapy service delivery whenever feasible.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate students' integration into the community.
- Provide guidance to junior OTs/Interns (Senior Speech Language Therapist position only).
Requirements:
- Possess a Degree
- Registered with Singapore's Allied Health Professions Council.
- Demonstrates an interest in working with children who have special needs
