Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Assist in planning, driving and implementing business strategy to achieve the organizational target for the steel products business such as steel plates, beams etc. in the region (especially Singapore and Malaysia).
- Assess tender inquiries – Review of requirements, prepare information internally for the company and externally suppliers and address clarifications from clients’ so as to prepare tender documents and proposal for submission.
- Negotiate with customers and suppliers in inquiries to materialize and finalize the contracts.
- Familiarise with the local business environment, including but not limited to applicable laws, customs, taxes, and business practices and conduct regular market intelligence through periodic customer visit.
- Develop trustworthy relationship with key stakeholders (customers, suppliers and internal members) for smooth execution of the business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the steel products industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to establish good working relationship with all key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Commitment to overcome challenges to achieve objectives.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
