Job Scope:
You will be responsible for managing the contract for the construction of IWMF, and to ensure that the IWMF is delivered as per the contract. You will also make plans and preparations to build up and ready the workforce to take on the O&M of IWMF when it is completed.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the budget, financing and payments for IWMF’s operations and maintenance.
- Developing a competent and professional team for O&M of IWMF when it is commissioned, and ensuring its safe, reliable and efficient operations.
- Driving and implementing continuous improvement projects to meet IWMF’s operational excellence goals.
- Working closely with Director (IWMF), the appointed Owner’s Engineer (OE)/Consultants and contractors to meet IWMF’s design, operational and performance requirements such as equipment availability, energy efficiency, emissions standards and refuse throughput in the O&M phase.
Requirements:
- Degree or higher qualification in electrical, mechanical or civil engineering
- At least 15 or more years of experience in managing contracts and/or O&M of industrial projects/facilities
- Good technical background and knowledge in environmental and solid waste management
- Good communication and analytical skills, meticulous and committed to delivering high quality work
- Highly self-motivated and able to work well in a team
