Responsibilities:
- Proficient in navigating the waterways within the Port Limit of Singapore and adept at setting accurate navigation courses using navigational aids.
- Skilled in commanding tugboats for safe maneuvering from quay to vessel/rigs, and leading in the deployment of anchoring and mooring lines.
- Competent in navigation using navigational aids.
- Knowledgeable about tides, waters, coastlines, marine hazards, and weather conditions.
- Capable of operating locating devices, including communication and signaling equipment.
- Demonstrates sound judgment in assessing lifting feasibility.
- Proficient in creating lifting and mooring draft
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and plans effectively.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of floating crane lifting capabilities.
- Able to promote and uphold safe working practices in the workplace.
- Communicate close with project managers and onsite coordinators to ensure safe operations
- Able to stay onboard during busy operational periods
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience. Graduate from a Marine Academy.
- 3 years of experience in floating crane operation / operate boats of above 2000BHP.
- Able to stay onboard on a weekly basis for Day/Night watch
- Fluent in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
