Position Summary
Within the Global Machine Pricing Organization, partners with technical teams and business partners to ensure the Caterpillar's machine pricing and merchandising systems are functioning as expected, well supported, and effectively enhanced based on user requirements.
What You Will Do
- Execute customer support processes and activities for the implementation of new or existing applications.
- Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshoot problems, as necessary.
- Execute translating client's requirements to functional documentation, participate in technical designs and test plan with coaching and training.
- Serve as Super User or System Administrator role to provide support for Caterpillar's Machine Pricing and Merchandising Systems; provide initial triage and coordinate response to customer support issues; administer user access requests; and ensure alignment of Caterpillar systems with compliance, policy, and audit requirements.
- Assist in the technical resolution of reported issues with Pricing and Orders grief in GMP systems, including resolving grief on production orders and updating background tables in legacy applications
- Participate in projects as a Subject Matter Expert by independently performing root cause analysis on incidents and make recommendations on improvements to system and process.
