Procurment Engineer
- Singapore Based (Canberra MRT / Have company transport)
- 5 Days work per week (8am/8.30am - 5.30pm/6pm)
- $4500 to $5500
- Degree (with relevant experience) in Electronic / Electrical Engineering, preferably with R&D background but not a must. + Possess project management experience especially in module
- Experience from Original Equipment Manufacturer or Contract Manufacturer will be added advantage + Experience in BOM / Costing / Engineering analysis and supply chain management

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide cost estimation for Mechatronics/ PCBA / Cables/ E&E modules.
- Support R&D in selecting components/ Source include recommendations on potential new technologies for the purpose.
- Monitor procurement processes as well as control of resources and activities in support of quality, cost, and delivery requirements at NPI projects.
- Support product cost optimization at the management of procurement in key areas such as strategies, supplier selections, inquiries, negotiations, and drift cost calculations.
- Coordination between internal and external stakeholders with selected suppliers on necessary technical information, etc drawings, data sheets, STEP files, to ensure the alignment in costing and delivered materials.
- Recommend the promotion of material status from stages of manufacturing freeze until series.
- Organize for design to cost (DTC) or cost reduction processes via structural cost analyses.
- Support Advanced Purchaser/Operative Purchaser in event of escalations during material orders/ deliveries and complex engineering changes. This will include direct supplier coordination/ communications.
- Knowledge transfer to commodity managers of materials from prototype to production stage.
