Join our team as a Tooling Engineer to provide expertise in new tool concepts, product development and coordinating molding tool fabrication progress.
What you will do
- Provide technical support and solutions for new tool concepts and product development, including guidance for project advancement and existing part design enhancements related to tooling
- Coordinate and oversee the progress of molding tool fabrication, testing, sample analysis, and measurement with local suppliers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and molding processes
- Maintain documentation in Agile systems, assist the Core Architecture Team, provide tooling training to R&D IND Team, and develop new tooling concepts for timely product introductions
- Technical Support to SCM (tooling related, molding cost saving, productivity for quality parts & New supplier sourcing and development lead by procurement)
- Support conceptual work of Core Architecture Team Tooling Training and guidance to R&D Industrialize Team.
What you bring
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Precision / Plastic Engineering or other related discipline
- Up to 2 years of experience in leading mold design / mold making / tooling project management
- Experience in plastic / rubber / metal parts
- Experience in secondary process, spray painting and other cosmetic process
- Experience in using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software (Creo, Solid work, etc)
