1. Job Description:
- Assist the Supervisor in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the Steward department
- Train and monitor staff in cleaning techniques, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations
- Coordinate and track proper maintenance of equipment
- Monitor and document labour and productivity
- Ensure work surfaces, refrigeration, stores are cleaned and sanitised before end of shift
- Ensure a close professional working relationship with other members of staff at all times
- Ensure the kitchen is secure, clean and safe before going off shift
- Attend all team briefs as required
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
