Job Responsibilities
The incumbent will assist the Group Finance Manager in managing the accounting, IFRS compliance and corporate secretarial functions which shall include:
a) Handle full set of accounts include consolidation accounts;
b) Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
c) Prepare financial and management reports;
d) Prepare budget, forecast and financial analysis;
e) Prepare financial statements and results for announcement to SGX;
f) Prepare the submission of quarterly GST return;
g) Prepare audit schedules;
h) Prepare investment reports;
i) Liaise with auditors, tax agent, bankers and subsidiary companies; and
j) Undertake ad hoc projects when assigned.
Requirements
· Degree in Accountancy/ACCA
· At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in accounting and auditing
· Able to take pressure and meet tight deadlines
· Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills with analytical mind
· Able to work independently and multi-task in fast-paced environment
· Team player with a strong sense of responsibility
· Proficient in MS Office and hands-on experience in computerised MYOB accounting software
· Experience in working in public listed companies or audit firms and familiar with SGX requirements
· Requires some travelling for the auditing of subsidiary companies
· Preferably able to commence work at short notice
