Job Scope
- Plan, co-ordinate and recruit volunteers to support foster parents caring for foster children
- Assess potential volunteers through interviews and writing reports
- Match, coordinate, schedule and deploy suitable volunteers to support foster parents in various ways including transport arrangement
- Follow up and monitor the progress of cases matched with volunteers
- Engage and retain interests of volunteers, partners and stakeholders
- Involve in the recruitment and outreach events for both foster parents and volunteers
- Support and work collaboratively with the recruitment officer
- Plan and run programmes for foster parents and foster children
- Any other assigned tasks and projects
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma, with preferably above 2 years of experience in the social service sector, especially in the area of volunteer management
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work well with children, youths, adults including elderly
- Possess good working attitude and willing to learn
- Systematic with good organisation skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Canva
- Familiar with the usage of social media such as Instagram
- Those without relevant social service experience are welcome to apply
