Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to evaluate existing electrical systems and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineers to develop electrical design solutions for A&A projects.
- Prepare detailed electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing electrical installations.
- Review and analyze project requirements, specifications, and client expectations to develop cost-effective and innovative electrical solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the design, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to procure materials and equipment necessary for electrical installations.
- Conduct quality inspections and tests to verify the integrity and performance of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and develop solutions to address any problems or deficiencies.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on M&E systems and A&A projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., SS, IEC,)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule and within budget.
- Experience managing projects from concept through completion.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
