Main duties and responsibilities:
- Monitor daily imports via road to various customers and sites;
- Cross check BCA’s eLanding against MY delivery;
- Issuing of monthly Purchase Orders;
- Entry of Sales Orders;
- Preparation of documents to BCA for each distance source importation;
- Liaise with suppliers for documentation of each imports;
- Liaise with suppliers if overload of trucks is alerted by BCA’s berthing operation;
- Application of Landing Permit with BCA;
- Assist to liaise with Declaring Agent on CCP applied (i.e. wrongly declared);
- Declared of distance source CCP;
- Prepare of quotation slip and quotation;
- Prepare of Customer Satisfactory Reports;
- Prepare new customers’ trading accounts;
- Keep track of accounts due for payment;
- Ensure quotations are acknowledged back for filing;
- Follow up on customers’ Purchase Orders; and
- Other assignments from time to time
- Able to work in Jurong Port (West); Transport provided.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales; in construction materials will be considered a plus;
- Good computer skills such as MS Office.
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
