Manager, Biomedical Engineering

Position: Manager,Biomedical Engineering

Working Days : Monday to Friday


Job Responsibilities:

  • Support to BME Head to lead BME team for the various programs in the commissioning, breakdown and preventive maintenance, inventory updating and de-commissioning of medical equipment.
  • Work with relevant user groups to prepare medical equipment specifications for RFQ / RFP; evaluate RFQ / RFP submissions and provide recommendations based on technical compliance.
  • Review and make improvement to various programmes to ensure minimal disruption to operations and ensure medical equipment is safe for use at all times.
  • Plan, conduct and coordinate training in the operation and maintenance of medical equipment for BME team and relevant user groups.
  • Ensure quality of works conform to standards and practices that the hospital subscribes to, including other quality initiatives driven by hospital and department.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Relevant industry experience with minimum 10 years’ experience in similar capacity will also be considered.
  • Familiar with Hospital BME functions and processes, Microsoft Office, energetic and forward looking.
