Responsibilities:
- Monitors electrical team allocation, ensuring the scope of work is well coordinated, properly staffed and competently supporting different stages of electrical construction
- Provides technical support and technical advice from tender to completion of a project, contributing information on the electrical aspects to the commercial/ proposal team, as required
- Reviews customer requirements and specification to establish strategies for EI department
- Reviews electrical roles in supporting project requirements, detailing plans to accomplish established goals and to ensure clear line of communication for effective team execution
- Participates in safety committee and production meeting, providing execution plan based on the project requirements and initiating cost effective alternatives and solutions, as required
- Monitors and scrutinizes subcontractor bills
- Negotiates tariff with external service provider to manage cost effectively
- Identifies risk and prepares contingency plan
- Prepares and reviews quality improvement plan
- Evaluates vendor and sub-contractor performance
- Reviews internal and external audit reports
- Performs any other assigned duties and responsibilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ or related engineering disciplines
- Min 7 years of working experience in production line support
- Experience in electrical systems and construction for topsides and marine vessels
- Experience in managing Vendors and Sub-Contractors
- Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken)
