Art Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in art education and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children ranging from 3 years old onwards. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire creativity, cultivate artistic skills, and foster a love for the arts in learners of all ages.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging art curriculum tailored to the needs and interests of students across various age groups.
  • Conduct art classes and workshops for children aged 3 years and older, focusing on a wide range of mediums and techniques.
  • Provide personalized instruction and guidance to students, fostering their artistic development and nurturing their individual talents.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and express themselves artistically.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize art exhibitions, showcases, and other events to celebrate students' achievements and showcase their artwork.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide feedback on students' progress and promote parental involvement in their artistic education.
  • Practise good housekeeping of the art studio.

Qualifications:

  • Fine Arts/Art Education, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching art to children, with a portfolio showcasing your own artwork and teaching accomplishments.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Passion for art education and a commitment to fostering creativity, self-expression, and personal growth in students.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and execute engaging art lessons and activities.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards teaching and working with diverse groups of students.
