Job Purpose:
Primary purpose is to serve as a strategic advisor and solution evangelist, guiding potential clients through their journey of discovering, understanding, and ultimately adopting SAP solutions tailored to their unique business needs.
The Presales Consultant will play a pivotal role in the presales process, collaborating closely with sales teams to articulate the value proposition of SAP products and services, showcase their capabilities through compelling demonstrations and presentations, and build strong relationships with clients based on trust, expertise, and a deep understanding of their business challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements and business processes to identify opportunities for SAP solutions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop comprehensive presales proposals and presentations that effectively showcase the features and benefits of SAP products and services.
- Deliver engaging and informative demonstrations of SAP solutions to prospective clients, both in-person and virtually.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on how SAP solutions can address their specific challenges and achieve their business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional SAP services.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in SAP technology, as well as industry trends and best practices, to continually enhance presales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including solution architects and implementation consultants, to ensure seamless transition from presales to project delivery.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in presales consulting or solution architecture roles, with a focus on SAP solutions.
- Deep understanding of SAP products and modules, including but not limited to SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP BTP, SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP SuccessFactors.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering presales presentations and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value proposition of SAP solutions to clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical SAP solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
