As a project engineer you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage the timeline and budgetary cost set for the project management, ensuring compliance with formal contractual obligations and performance criteria.
- Serve a s a primary, day to day customer point of contact, communicating directly with the applicable members of the Nalco sales representatives.
- Work as an extension of the customer’s management team and provide contract compliance and fulfilment.
- Maintains excellence written and oral communication with customers and applicable Company contact.
- Work with project developers and field organization representatives to meet the deadlines in all related work assigned,
- Develop detailed process design and P&IDs based on customer requirements and provide technical support to customers during project tendering such as technical information and clarifications,
- Prepare commercial & technical proposals with specifications for tender submissions.
- Review project specification to ensure company design complies with customer specifications.
- Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry by monitoring new developments, new products, new research, new concepts, etc in the industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering
- At least 1 - 2 years of industry experience ( ie: Water treatment, Oil & Gas / Pharmaceutical )
- Proficient in Auto cad software
- Strong project management skill
- Excellence interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
- Resourceful and a team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic & challenging environment
