RESPONSIBILITIES
- MAS reporting, Review quarterly and annual MAS returns to ensure compliance with MAS regulatory requirements
- Reporting of statistics to regulatory bodies
- Monthly tax computation
- Support and review yearly tax computation to IRAS
- Investment Reporting, Review and ensure Investment journals are taken up promptly in Oracle system
- Supports Senior Vice President on investments section of Business Planning
- Review quarterly GST
- Co-ordinate and support annual statutory audit
- Prepare annual audited Financial Statement
- Provision of information to HOD/Actuary to facilitate actuarial reserving exercises
- Provide support to reporting manager/s on projects, process management and the implementation monitoring of financial and internal controls
- Staff supervision
- Undertake any other duties as may be assigned
Degree in accounting or equivalent
OTHER INFORMATION- Financial and accounting experience, preferably from an insurance company
- Strong in Microsoft Office Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Words
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of financial accounting, preferably insurance related
- Good appreciation of financial and internal controls, with the ability to balance requirements for internal control with efficiency
- Ability to work in a team environment
