Job Description
As an English congregation youth ministry worker, you will work closely with the pastor in charge of the youth ministry (13-18 years old) to grow and develop the youth ministry, playing a crucial role in raising the generations of disciples and disciplers for Christ. Aside from ministry work, you will also help support the planning and coordination for youth services and events.
Responsibilities
- Assist the youth pastor in pastoral care, preaching and teaching.
- Support the youth pastor in leading small groups and mentoring youths
- Be involved in the ministry’s strategic planning and development.
- Plan, coordinate and lead youth ministry events.
- Provide administrative support for the ministry, including Saturday’s youth service
- Any other duties assigned by the youth pastor.
Requirement
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree holder; theological training preferred.
- Prior experience in serving and ministering in a youth ministry
- Good organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate for young people.
- Dedicated team player.
- Required to work on Saturdays and Sundays (Mondays off).
