Job Requirements:

  • Perform a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical/ accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures for full set accounts, including accounts payable, account receivables, prompt billing to customers, monthly payments to suppliers, general ledgers such as payroll, accruals, etc.
  • Assist in performing monthly statutory financial statements and management accounts for the Company and its Subsidiaries (including cross-border territories).
  • Prepare monthly project performance reports against budget and project status reports with variance analysis to the Management.
  • Manage the status of accounts receivables collection and doubtful debts provision, if any.
  • Handle cash management activities and cash flow forecast.
  • Able to liaise with operations, customers, suppliers, auditors, bankers, tax agents, and investment managers whenever needed.
  • Perform routine calculating, posting and verifying duties pertaining to financial statistics, surveys, research information, statutory returns and benchmarking.
  • Prepare information for the smooth completion of various audits, including interim and annual audits by external auditors, internal audits, government audits, and parent company-related audits for the Company and its Subsidiaries (including cross-border territories).
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • Keep abreast of key changes in accounting/ taxation regulations and provide support in rolling out group initiatives.
  • Participate in other ad-hoc projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy/ Finance, the candidate with CPA, is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Minimum 5 years of past qualification and relevant working experience.
  • A candidate with experience in an audit firm is preferred.
  • Familiar with IFRS 115 construction contract accounting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
  • Meticulous, organized and able to work independently.
  • Strong in internal control review.
  • Experienced in system migration will be preferred.
  • Highly committed with the ability to work under pressure.
