Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and independent individual who is meticulous, eager to learn and has a keen eye for detail to join our young and dynamic firm as our Office Manager / Office Secretarial Executive to assist with office administration and provide operational and secretarial support to the lawyers in our firm. While relevant experience is a plus, we also welcome fresh graduates with an interest in learning the different functions of a law firm. Quality training and opportunities for professional development will be provided.
The Role
General scope of duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing secretarial support to the lawyers and partner to ensure smooth operation of legal matters
- Monitor and take charge of overall progress of matters, billings and collections
- Perform data entry, drafting of correspondence as and when necessary
- Oversee administrative and office support: IT, HR, Finance, Operational needs
The Ideal Candidate
- University degree or Diploma with local polytechnic
- Preferably at least 1 to 3 years of legal secretarial or office admin experience, though not strictly required
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Good command in English, spoken and written
- Ideal traits: IT savvy, self-starter, team player, attention to detail, resilient, good work attitude, able to multitask, strong organisational and time management skills
