RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Office Integrated Information Technology Services (IITS).
- Data Champion
- Act as a data champion, inspiring and leading others in embracing a data-driven mindset.
- Provide insights, best practices, and contribute to the development of a data-centric culture.
- Training Program Design
- Design and develop training programs tailored to meet the needs of various business units.
- Create engaging and effective learning experiences to enhance data literacy across SMU.
- Training Content Curation
- Curate training content covering data policy awareness, analytics tool fluency, analytical techniques, and data glossary understanding.
- Ensure content aligns with industry best practices and evolving data trends.
- Training Material Development
- Develop comprehensive and visually appealing training materials, including presentations, manuals, and interactive resources.
- Utilize creative thinking to design materials that enhance the learning experience.
- Training Delivery
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for diverse user audiences.
- Ensure that training sessions are aligned with SMU goals and objectives.
- Collaboration and Organization
- Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to identify training needs and customize programs accordingly.
- Organize and coordinate training sessions, ensuring seamless delivery and participation.
- Feedback Collection and Continuous Improvement
- Implement feedback mechanisms to gather insights on the effectiveness of training programs.
- Continuously monitor and adjust training content and delivery methods based on feedback and emerging trends.
- Team Management
- Take ownership and support team and while holding team accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work.
- Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the design and development of BI solution with proficiency in data analysis and data processing.
- Proven experience in designing, curating, and delivering training programs in the data analysis space.
- Strong understanding of analytics tools, techniques and data governance.
- Hold a recognized trainer certification in data analysis, education, or related fields is an advantage.
- Passionate in advocating data literacy and awareness to achieve business success.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to make complex concepts easily understandable to diverse audiences.
- Resourceful and able to work independently, demonstrating strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage competing demands.
