Responsibilities
- Work closely with the resident’s doctor and multi-disciplinary team to provide care to the residents; updates on changes in the residents’ condition and needs
- Ensure care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan
- Work with allied health professionals and/or initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures
- Carry out and supervise assessments of all new admissions
- Prepare clinical documentation and ensure all documentations are current
- Prepare and administer medications to residents and comply with safe medication practices
- Supervise staff to ensure safe medication practice
- Participate in training and development of staff
- Work with Supervisor to conduct quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care
- Deal with emergency that arises and ensure prompt actions to mitigate the situation. Escalate promptly to supervisor, where necessary
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing or its equivalent
- 2 years related experience
- Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
Working hours
- Work on 3 rotating shifts
- Six-day work week
