We are seeking a skilled Trade Finance Executive to join our team. The Trade Finance Executive will be responsible for managing trade finance operations, facilitating international transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trade finance products and services, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end trade finance operations, including letter of credit issuance, document examination, and payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including UCP 600, ISBP, and Incoterms.
- Conduct credit assessments and evaluate the creditworthiness of clients for trade finance facilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and financial institutions to resolve trade finance-related issues and ensure smooth transaction flow.
- Monitor and manage trade finance risks, identifying potential areas of improvement and implementing appropriate controls.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to trade finance activities, ensuring all information is up to date and accessible.
- Prepare and present reports on trade finance activities, including risk assessments, process improvements, and performance metrics.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, suppliers, and customers to facilitate trade operations and explore potential business opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to trade finance.
- Monthly and weekly work reports to the superior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in trade finance operations, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of trade finance products, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and documentary collections.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, such as UCP 600, ISBP, and Incoterms.
- Proficient in trade finance software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CDCS - Certified Documentary Credit Specialist) would be an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin are required.
