Job scope
As a Senior RF application engineer, you will be responsible for developing/testing the evaluation board and product board for RF SoC targeting at UWB and BLE applications. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with chip designers to understand the chip function and testing requirement, and optimize the performance of the solution at a system level. Additionally, you will provide direct support to end customers in integrating the chip into their products.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and test EVBs for RF SoC targeting at UWB and BLE application
2. Develop and test product board including RF SoC, flash, power supply, filter, antenna, etc.
3. Conduct test and work with certification bodies for FCC, CE, CCC certification
4. Provide support to end customer for chip integration
Key Knowledge Requirements:
1. Familiar with typical power supply circuit e.g. DCDC, LDO, and the design principles of power integrity and isolation
2. Understanding of signal integrity for high-speed digital signals
3. Knowledge of transmission line impedance, matching, filter, EMC/EMI, antenna
4. Familiar with the requirement and testing of FCC, CE, CCC certification
5. Proficiency in PCB design software PADS/Altium Designer/Allegro for schematic design, PCB design, BOM generation
6. Experience with RF testing equipment including spectrum analyser, signal generator, oscilloscope, network analyser
