Position summary statement:
The Guest Room Ambassador performs any combination of cleaning duties to maintain all
apartments in a clean and orderly manner for occupancy.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning an allocated number of apartments set by the Assistant
- Housekeeper according to working procedures.
- Clean bedrooms, change bed linen, vacuum carpet rugs, mop floors and replenish all guest
- supplies.
- Wash bathrooms, wash glasses, replenish all towels and bathroom amenities. Empty rubbish
- bin.
- Clean living rooms, vacuum carpet rugs, mop floors and replenish all guest supplies.
- Clean kitchen and all kitchen appliances and equipment, wash cutleries, crockeries, glasses,
- cooking utensils, pots and pans. Empty rubbish bin.
- Clean internal windows, window ledges and door panels.
- Maintain all Housekeeping cleaning machine and equipment in good working condition.
- Report to Assistant Housekeeper for any loss and damage to linen, furniture, fixtures and
- equipment
- Update status of apartments.
- Put in and set-up rollaway beds and baby-cots, Deliver electrical plugs or any special requests by guests.
- Report any repairs and damages to Assistant Housekeepers discovered in apartments or working areas.
- Performs any other duties and special projects as assigned.
