Job Description:
- Reviewing and preparing various reports for statutory, Head Office, regulatory bodies such as MAS, and Branch Management.
- Compiling statistical reports and submitting surveys to local authorities and management.
- Collaborating with tax consultants to manage annual tax return submissions and ensure adherence to tax regulations.
- Overseeing financial closing entries, payments processing, and nostro account reconciliation.
- Contributing to the annual budgeting process and assisting in the coordination of the Branch's financial plan.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a degree in Accounting as well as professional certification such as CPA/CA (preferred).
- Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in financial control and reporting within the banking sector, with familiarity with MAS 610 and MAS 649 reporting.
