- Position: Quality Engineer (ISO9000/14000-Mechanical Engineer)
- Location: Tuas Crescent - Company transport provided (Pick up point at Jurong East and Marsiling MRT)
- Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (8.30am- 5.00pm)
- Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $4800 + 14 days Annual Leave + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
- Industry: Wholesale of diesel-powered generators
Main responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Engineering and Production team to develop incoming quality, in-process Quality and Outgoing Quality requirements
- Responsible for all Quality plans of all products to meet customers specifications
- Work with relevant agencies to adhere to certification requirements when required Work with management to establish/maintain company's QMS and is Management Representative (MR) of company
- Work with Procurement/Purchasing to ensure that contractors/suppliers quote/supply items that meet customer's specification.
- Working out costing of products when required by management
- Responsible for all equipment calibration/maintenance program within the company
- Complete other tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
- Min 1 year relevant experience
- Diploma in Engineering/Degree in Mechanical/ Marine Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in handling project Audit and liaise with internal & external auditor
- Familiar with ISO9000/14000
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
