Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of operations within Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
- Implement, monitor and maintain appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act
- Enforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations
- To advise, lead, coordinate, train, create awareness for workers on latest WSH topics and safety requirements.
- Prepare, Check, Implement and Conduct - Risk Assessment and Management Plan
- Conducts regular site checks and takes appropriate corrective actions
- Compiles all relevant safety reports,records and to carry out daily safety inspection
- Able to read, interpret and implement relevant Singapore WSH legislations, Singapore Standards, Codes of Practices and guidelines proficiently.
- Other Ad-hoc duties as assigned by company
Requirements
· Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutions
. Proficient in MS Office
· Min. 2 years relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry
· Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability
· Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment
· Able to start work on short notice
