The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering are looking for a project officer to conduct research on design, simulation, and manufacturing of mechanical metamaterials with desired mechanical properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate additive manufacturing processes including SLS, SLA, and DLP printing.
- Optimize process parameters for different 3D printing technologies.
- Use 3D printing techniques to print smart materials into designed structures.
- Perform mechanical testing, such as tensile, bending, DSC testing on the printed structures.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 1-year research experience in related area
- Experiences in 3D printing processes
- Experiences in lattice structure design and testing
- Proficiency in English
